The SoundPlex® has created a community based incubation center for world class artists and aficionados of incredible music to gather, create, develop, and experience music in a groundbreaking concept.
SOUNDPLEX STUDIOS TECH INFO:
High end vocal recording chains with Neumann mics, Neve 1073 preamps and Retro Instruments compression.
Drums, piano and electric guitar cabs miked with AEA, RCA and Stager ribbon mics.
60'x40’ tracking room lends itself to massive drum tones and live-in studio recordings. For an all-Analog experience use our MCI 1” 8-Track tape machine.
All mixes are hybrid utilizing our DNR Orion all analog console and it’s wonderful EQ as the summing mixer.
We have 3 racks of Class A analog preamp, eq and compressor iron. You can instantly hear the difference between the iron and working totally “in the box”!
We have Yamaha and Kawai grand pianos, Fender Rhodes and Yamaha electric pianos, ‘67 Ludwig drum kit. Hammond B3 organ with Leslie 122 and nice selection of guitar amps.
